Robyn has been providing childcare in Lincoln for 12 years, and has been dedicated to children and their families since 1994. When you visit you will find the warmth of her home with the activities and learning environment of a preschool. She is the mother of 3 grown boys, grandma to one little boy!
She provides a developmental Appropriate Program (DAP) for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The focus is to provide stimulating and educational experiences which promote each child's social/emotional, intellectual moral, physical and cognitive development. This is achieved through providing hands on activities and opportunities for exploration and play, while incorporating reading, math, and science. Her children go to school Kindergarten ready, and reading with the utilization of Zoo-Phonics used by our local elementary schools.
Robyn and her amazing assistant, Sarah, have their Master Teacher Permits. Their training doesn't stop there as they continue to take classes through the Colleges, Placer County Office of Education, and off site trainings. They take caring for children seriously and know there is always more information to learn. Sarah has been with Robyn for 9 years!
From Infants to Toddlers, to Preschoolers, the inclusion of all the children creates an atmosphere of learning and caring for others. It's not just about the activities, but also the social and emotional growth of children that you will see exhibited within the children's interactions themselves. Children learn to care for one another, to help each other, to have compassion and empathize, along with learning social values and manners.
